Access & Membership

Who can access the courses on this platform?

The CSHEMA Learning Center is an exclusive benefit for CSHEMA members. To access the course catalog, you must be a current member and logged into your account.

Are the courses free?

Yes. Most individual courses, webinars, and technical sessions are free of charge for CSHEMA members as part of your membership benefits.

Why am I being asked to pay for a "Course Bundle"?

While individual courses are free, we offer Premium Course Bundles. These are curated, deep-dive educational tracks or specialized certificate programs that require a separate fee to cover administrative and licensing costs.

Log In & Troubleshooting

How do I log in to the CSHEMA Learning Center?

Click the "Sign In" button in the top right corner. You must use your CSHEMA Member Portal credentials.

• If you are not a member yet, you will need to join CSHEMA before you can access this content.

I am a member, but it's asking me to pay for a regular course.

This usually happens if you are not logged in. Please ensure your name appears in the top right corner of the screen. If you are logged in and still see a price for a non-bundle course, please contact info@cshema.org to verify your membership status.

I forgot my password.

Because this system uses Single Sign-On (SSO), you must reset your password through the main CSHEMA website. Once updated there, it will automatically update for the Learning Center.Summary: This user guide walks a student through how to access the

Navigating Content

Where are my active courses?

Once you click "Register" or "Purchase" on a course, it will be added to your personal dashboard. You can find this by clicking on your name/profile icon and selecting "My Activity."

How do Course Bundles work?

When you purchase a Premium Bundle, you gain access to a group of related modules. These will appear in your "My Activity" section as a single folder or a list of individual sessions that you can complete at your own pace.

Certificates & Credits

How do I download my certificate of completion?

Once you have finished all modules and passed any required quizzes:

1. Go to "My Activity."

2. Locate the completed course.

3. Click the Certificate icon to download or print your PDF.

Can I earn CEUs?

Many CSHEMA courses are eligible for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or contact hours relevant to EHS professionals (e.g., BCSP, IHMM). Please check the individual course description for specific credit details.
